Student Support Services
Our Valor 17 Student Support Program takes its name from Exodus 17:12-14 where we see a display of literal support by Aaron and Hur as they supported Moses while he walked out the path that God set before him. This passage of scripture shows the heartbeat of student support services at Valor.
We are excited to announce the expansion of our Valor 17 Special Education Support Services, reflecting our deep commitment to educating and equipping the whole child. These expanded services include both in-class and out-of-class support designed to meet the unique needs of every learner.
In the Upper School, students now have the opportunity to work closely with our Executive Function Coach, who provides one-on-one support in areas such as time management, organization, goal setting, task initiation, and study skills. This partnership is designed to prepare students with the tools they need for academic success and lifelong independence.
In the Lower School, we are pleased to introduce our Early Intervention Specialist who works alongside teachers to identify learning concerns early, communicate effectively with parents, and provide targeted support through assessments and interventions—all during the regular school day. These enhancements allow us to better support students across all grade levels with a Christ-centered approach. Valor 17 is not just a program; it’s part of our mission to walk with families and empower students to become confident, capable learners who are ready to fulfill their God-given purpose.
