Valor’s Story of Strength
Born from a desire to combine strong academics with strong biblical formation, Valor offers an innovative and accessible covenant Christian education for students in K3–12th grade. We equip students to think deeply, live wisely, love boldly, and serve faithfully.
In 1998, a group of parents and church leaders in Alpharetta, Georgia, founded Bridgeway Christian Academy with a vision to help students grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man (Luke 2:52), through a Christian worldview. In 2010, another group launched Legacy Community Academy (LCA), combining on-campus and home-based learning to raise mission-minded student leaders.
In 2020, Bridgeway Christian Academy and Legacy Community Academy united to form Valor Christian Academy. With a shared mission to create a Christ-centered environment where every child is known and loved, they continue to partner with Christian families to prepare servant leaders with an eternal, impactful worldview.
Today, our story is as alive as ever as our mission leads us to partner with Christian families to prepare servant leaders for an impactful life with an effective, eternal worldview.
Our Core Distinctives
Our foundation to our identity is being a covenantal school. Valor is rooted in the belief that education is a partnership between home, church, and school under the lordship of Christ. This covenant shapes every aspect of who we are. We don't simply educate minds - we shepherd hearts, form character, and equip students to live faithfully and boldly for God's Kingdom in every sphere of life. At Valor:
Every student is seen, known, and loved.
Every student receives personalized academic preparation at the highest standard.
Every student is discipled daily toward Christlikeness.
What We Believe
We joyfully uphold the authority of Scripture, the lordship of Christ, and the value of partnering with families across denominational lines in covenant education.

Shaping Habits of The Heart
Valor is committed to launching servant leaders who shape culture through a biblical worldview. The Servant Leadership Program at Valor is a K–12 initiative. Through school-wide service projects, lower school community partnerships, and leadership opportunities in grades 8–12, students, families, and staff live out VCA’s mission and values within our homes, school, and community.
As we know, serving begins at home. At Valor, we encourage families to prioritize service and offer opportunities for students to serve both inside and outside the school. As followers of Jesus, serving is part of our DNA.
Through the Servant Leadership Program, we help shape the habit of serving — forming lifelong servant-hearted leaders.

Raising servant leaders. Shaping culture for Christ.
A covenant Christian education designed for today’s families and tomorrow’s leaders.
